Norilsk Nickel IFRS net profit falls by 16% to $5.9 bln in 2022
MOSCOW, Feb 10 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian metals giant Norilsk Nickel decreased by 16% on the year to U.S. $5.9 billion in 2022, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Friday.
Consolidated revenue decreased 5% on the year to $16.9 billion in the period, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) fell by 17% to $8.7 billion.
The return on EBITDA amounted to 52%.
The company has confirmed the forecast for capital expenditures for 2023 at $4.7 billion.
